Why I am I interested?

I am taking this class to enhance my artistic and technical skills in relation to digital photography.  I have always had a passion for digital cameras and their capabilities for creating powerful pieces of art.  Ever since I can remember, my dad has felt a similar passion.  This probably explains why I have felt this way.  I have to be honest, I've always been more interested in cinematography in addition to video editing, but photography has remained exciting and intriguing to me as well.  I hope from this class that I can learn valuable new techniques that I can implement in a professional setting in the future.
